The 2020 APAN Music Awards have announced their Top 10 and winners in more categories.
On November 26, the 2020 APAN Music Awards revealed the top 10 artists that it has named “the best singers who made K-pop shine in 2020.” After sharing their list of 30 nominees earlier this month, the Top 10 was chosen in consideration of a popularity vote, the artists ‘achievements with physical albums and digital releases in 2020, and the judges’ scores.
The Top 10 (announced in Korean alphabetical order) are: Kang Daniel, The Boyz, MONSTA X, BTS, SEVENTEEN, IZ * ONE, Im Young Woong, GOT7, NCT 127, and TWICE.
The winners of the categories that were determined solely by a popularity vote have also been revealed. The best icon award goes to NCT U, the best performance to Kang Daniel, the best music video to BLACKPINK, and the best all-rounder to GOT7’s JB.
The 2020 APAN Music Awards were originally scheduled for November 28 KST, however, they were postponed due to precautions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
