Dr Noor Hisham said that Sabah recorded the highest number of daily cases with 326 cases (34.9%), followed by Selangor with 161 cases or 17.2% and Negeri Sembilan which recorded 158 cases or 16.9%.

Dr. Noor Hisham said that three states that did not register any new cases today were Pahang, Melaka and Perlis.

To date, he said that 110 positive cases of Covid-19 were being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 45 required respiratory assistance.

Dr. Noor Hisham, there were three deaths from Covid-19 today, bringing the cumulative number of deaths from the pandemic in Malaysia to 348 cases (0.57 percent) of the total number of cases.

All the cases of Covid-19 deaths today were from Sabah and involved locals, including a 70-year-old woman who died at Duchess of Kent Hospital.
