Public urges to observe CMCO, practice social discipline to fight Covid-19

KUALA LUMPUR: Public compliance and social discipline are very important to achieving the goal of breaking the chain of Covid-19 infections in the community, said Director General of Health Datuk, Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah. (pix).

He also urged the public to practice and embrace the new normal in their daily lives to prevent the spread of the deadly pandemic in the country.

“We have to practice and adopt the new normality in our daily life, such as social distancing, avoiding meetings (welcoming and joining together), making sure that we always wash our hands with soap and water, while recommending wearing masks in public places.

“This is a social responsibility and we have to protect ourselves, our family and our community. Please stay home if there is no major issue outside, ”he said in a public service message that aired on all local television stations.

Noor Hisham also urged everyone to comply with the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) which allows almost the entire economic sector to resume operations in an orderly and controlled manner.

He said that merchants, entrepreneurs and employers must observe the standard operating procedure, as well as the conditions established by the authorities. – Bernama
