Here’s Arsenal’s morning recap for Sunday, November 22.

Mikel Arteta must adjust Arsenal’s system against Leeds

Thomas Partey is off to a brilliant start in life in the Emirates, but the Ghanaian star will not be on Arsenal’s trip to Elland Road.

It presents Mikel Arteta with an obvious problem, as neither Granit Xhaka nor Dani Ceballos possess the same abilities as Partey.

How Nketiah Can Get His Dream Jersey Number

Eddie Nketiah has spoken about his relationship with the amazing duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

The young forward has slowly emerged into the image of the first team at Arsenal and has tough competition ahead of him.

“I have a very good relationship with both of them,” Nketiah told The Athletic. “They are the best players whose records speak for themselves. Off the court, they are great guys.

“As a young man, competing with them, pushing us, it’s great. I see how they end in a certain way, I ask them how they got to a certain position or what they were thinking when they got there.

“Training with them just raises your level. I’m very grateful to have them.”

The player has also been talking about the battle to get into the first team and his dream Arsenal number. You can read the full story here.

Willian’s team selection court

Arsenal fans have been speculating on Mikel Arteta’s lineup for the Leeds United game.

The Gunners are looking to bounce back from a 3-0 home loss to Aston Villa, with Tashan Deniran-Alleyne speaking what fans have seen during training that gave an indication of how Arteta might line up.

Some fans insisted that Willian would be lost after a trip to Dubai during the international break, something Arteta mentioned during his pre-match press conference.

“I had a conversation with him and explained what I expected,” Arteta said. “There are a lot of personal factors right now on our side, we need to be his shoes.

“A lot of players have different problems like any public person. Sometimes they make decisions based on needs, different times or what people expect of them.

“Whether they are right or not, that is something we have to discuss, but it has been dealt with in the right way and let’s move on.”
