Malaysian singer and actor Alif Satar tests positive for Covid-19

Malaysian celebrity Alif Satar revealed that he contracted Covid-19. The actor, singer, and television host made the announcement on Instagram to his 3.1 million followers today (November 22).

The 30-year-old said he had gone through several rounds of Covid-19 testing throughout his sessions, however the last one came back positive.

“Unfortunately, the latest test result I received today shows that I am Covid-19 positive. This is shocking and unfortunate news,” Alif said in his post, which is accompanied by a photo of him in a hospital gown.

Alif added that he gave the Health Ministry the list of names of those who were in close contact with him in the last 14 days.

On October 24, Alif posted a photo of himself receiving a Covid-19 smear test on the set of the local drama, Prison prison. “I encourage everyone to do a swab test for the safety of the wife and children. It is not painful, just a mild discomfort that lasts no more than 10 seconds,” wrote the father of three.
