COVID-19 | The Ministry of Health reported 935 new cases of Covid-19, most of them in Sabah, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan.
It also reported 2,555 recoveries, a record. This helped reduce the total number of active cases and ease the strain on Covid-19 hospitals.
The latest figures put cumulative Covid-19 cases at 6,0752 to date, while cumulative recoveries stand at 49,056.
Main indicators:
Active cases: 11,348 ↓ (1,623 less than the previous day)
Intensive care patients: 110 (unchanged)
Intubated patients: 45 ↓ (2 less than the previous day)
Deaths: 4 (unchanged)
The four new deaths put the death toll at 348. Details of the deaths are as follows:
Patient 33,905 (Death 346): 70-year-old Malaysian woman. He died at Duchess of Kent Hospital, Sabah. No pre-existing condition reported.
Patient 50,960 (Death 347): 59 year old Malaysian man. He died at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Sabah. He had a history of high blood pressure and asthma.
Patient 59,134 (Death 348): 77-year-old Malaysian woman. Confirmed dead at Tawau Hospital, Sabah. He had a history of diabetes and high blood pressure.

There were no new cases reported in Pahang, Malacca and Perlis for today.
The director general of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, reported in a statement about the emergence of six new groups.
On the other hand, two groups declared themselves eliminated, namely the Tuguson group and the Seri Gaya group.
This means that 173 out of 345 clusters are still active. Of this, 44 of the active groups registered new cases today.
The new groups are Bot Biru and Blok 31 in Sabah, Gemilang in Johor, the Sungai Udang construction site in Kuala Lumpur, Chengal in Kelantan and Damar Laut in Penang.
