COVID-19 | The Ministry of Health reported 4,094 new cases of Covid-19 and 10 deaths today.
This is the fourth time that the number of daily cases exceeds 4,000, the four that were registered in the last two weeks.
Today’s count is also the second highest ever recorded in Malaysia, after 4,275 cases were recorded last Saturday.
Main indicators:
- Active cases: 43,192 ↑ (803 more than the previous day)

The number of cases detected through “other examinations” in Kuala Lumpur represents 361 of 678 cases (53.2 percent) of the cases.
There is no way to discern how many of these cases were detected among those with symptoms, but they are not linked to existing groups because the Kuala Lumpur health department does not provide those figures, unlike Selangor and Perak.
