TvN’s “A Piece of Your Mind” recently aired its finale, but the emotions evoked by the sweet drama are sure to linger with viewers for a while.
“A Piece of Your Mind” tells the story of artificial intelligence (AI) programmer Ha Won (played by Jung Hae In) and classic recording engineer Han Seo Woo (played by Chae Soo Bin) as they meet and heal each other of their past pain The drama provided comfort to weary souls with its moving story, compelling acting, exquisite cinematography, and smooth soundtrack.

Jung Hae In and Chae Soo Bin’s acting and chemistry
Jung Hae In and Chae Soo Bin showed a detailed description of their characters’ emotions in each scene and had viewers cheer them on. Jung Hae In skillfully displayed the changes in Ha Won’s emotions with small but noticeable changes in his gaze. Like Seo Woo, Chae Soo Bin melted everyone’s hearts with her sweetness, and when she finally let out the tears she had been holding back for a long time, viewers cried along with her.
The chemistry between the two characters was also a central aspect of the drama. The way Ha Won and Seo Woo cared for and loved each other without stopping was precious and admirable.
Excellent supporting actors

The calm yet powerful energy of “A Piece of Your Mind” can be compared to that of a poem. The poetic atmosphere of the drama is amplified with lines like “It was nothing. It was just someone I saw for the first time, but it came to me as if it had dug in my heart”, narrates Seo Woo or “The sun rises and sets, blows the wind and the rain falls. This is all a message from me to live well wherever you are, “said Ha Won.
The use of both natural and artificial lighting on stages such as natural landscapes, the recording studio and alleys brought out the atmosphere of each scene, and the relaxing background music also contributed to the effect.
A comforting message that painful memories don’t last forever
All of the characters in the drama have had some kind of painful experience in the past. Ha Won lived a wandering life, unable to truly settle anywhere after her mother passed away. Seo Woo desperately needed someone to tell her to stay by her side after she lost her parents in a wildfire. Soon, Ho became unable to believe the promises after her fiancé betrayed her, and In Wook has lived a guilt-ridden life since Ha Won’s mother had an accident due to a lie he told.
Fortunately, the positive relationships between the characters helped them overcome these painful memories. After meeting Seo Woo, Ha Won was able to fall asleep at night and commit to his current life. Ha Won gave Seo Woo the courage to visit his old house that had burned down since the forest fire to face and overcome his trauma. When Soon Ho helped In Wook out of her depression, she was also able to find meaning in life.
