PUTRAJAYA: The government will allow a maximum of four people in a car starting tomorrow, but they must be from the same house.
Chief Minister (Security) Ismail Sabri Yaakob, announcing this today, said there is no problem maintaining social distancing for those from the same house while staying together.
“We will take action against anyone who violates this rule,” he said during a press conference here today.
Malaysia has reported 103 deaths and 6,176 cases of Covid-19 so far.
Ismail also said that all public transport vehicles will carry only half their capacity starting tomorrow.
If a bus can accommodate 40, then it can only load 20 starting tomorrow.
The same rule will apply to LRT trains, Ismail added.
