Apple lit up the news headlines last night by announcing the AirPods Max which has previously been the subject of rumors for quite some time. Coming soon to Malaysia for RM 2399, the new model is still a wireless audio product, but that doesn’t mean you can’t connect to devices with a 3.5mm audio port.

All you need to do is get your hands on this 3.5mm Lightning Audio Cable which is not included with the AirPods Max. The problem is that the cable has a fairly high price of RM 199, as stated on the Apple Malaysia website:
Truth be told, this cable has been around for a long time before AirPods Max. Prior to this, it was designed to allow Beats Solo Pro owners to use the headphones on other devices via cables. Similarly, iPhone or iPad owners can also use the cable to connect their devices to a speaker system.
So what you’re seeing here isn’t a cable made especially for AirPods Max. However, it is the only premium solution available at the moment for those who want to use the new headphones directly through a 3.5mm audio port.
