As in Thailand, only one engine option is available for the Almera, and that is a HR10DET (designated HRA0 in Thailand) 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine delivering 100 hp at 5,000 rpm and 152 Nm of torque. 2400 to 4,000 rpm. The grinder is paired with an Xtronic CVT with D-Step Logic and Sport mode.
