Between her new collaboration of Dua Lipa and her birthday August 16, Madonna’s have a lot to smile about these days. But it’s her party and she’s gonna give fans a killer “resting birthday bitch face” if she wants to – which is exactly what the pop icon did on Instagram.
On Saturday, the eve of her 62nd birthday, the singer uploaded a new series of photos showing her a bright look, a white floral print dress, multicolored nails, braids and one serious fan. The post picked up birthday greetings from longer pals like Debi Mazar, Rosie O’Donnell and Guy Oseary, as well as famous fans including Amy Schumer, Gwendoline Christie and Trace Lysette.
Instead of a big birthday bash amid the pandemic, the mother of six – who in April revealed she had tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies – but has since come under fire for misplacing information on cures for the coronavirus – managed to kill themselves at home. In a video that was also posted on Instagram on Saturday, she joked about cutting her hair, tying up her injured foot and singing, complete with a windmill, to Dua Lipa’s “Levitating” remix, in which she appears alongside Missy Elliott.
Of course, the star does not let them completely stop to enliven them. Her posts on Instagram Stories revealed that she is celebrating her special day of what appears to be a luxurious island getaway alongside friends and her young children.
