Madonna is back in the movie business.
The music icon shared the news on Instagram Friday, sharing a minute-long clip of herself and Diablo Cody, a screenwriter who won an Oscar for penny “Juno.”
In the clip, short pieces of conversation between the two can be heard about the script.

“If you’re sitting in a house with multiple injuries, what do you do?” Madonna, 61, wrote in the title. “Write a script with Diablo Cody about …”
While the “Material Girl” singer did not reveal further details, she did contain a handful of emojis including a microphone and a treble clef sign, indicating that it may be music-related.
In addition, the two could be heard discussing a costume worn by Madonna during a past tour, prompting fans to speculate if the project could be a biopic.

Madonna has not appeared in film or television since a 2009 “Saturday Night Live” appearance, according to IMDb. Instead, she lent her voice to “Arthur and the Invisibility” and appeared in an episode of “Will & Grace.”
