Mackenzie and Josh are not together
But even though the documents have yet to be signed, Mackenzie says that she and Josh are not together.
“We don’t have our rings on. If he wants to be with someone, then he has the freedom to do it, “he said.
Mackenzie told Nati that she spent most of her marriage feeling like she was working harder than Josh. Now that she’s the one who wants to officially throw in the towel, she’s surprised to find that Josh hesitates to let her go.

Mackenzie would like to move on, but “that’s not the story for him.”
Mackenzie currently says that she and Josh do not live together. But they spend almost every day together raising together. Josh also helps Mackenzie with things from her old house.
Mackenzie and Josh ‘get along better than ever’
Mackenzie says her breakup with Josh, oddly, has gone extremely well.
“If I could divorce someone in this world, it would be Josh. I know it’s the strangest thing I could say. But when the end came and we had to look at each other and say, ‘We destroyed this marriage together.’ And I had to take full responsibility for doing as much as he destroyed the marriage, “she said.
Suddenly, Mackenzie and Josh realized that they would live better lives and be better parents if they divorced.
“We think, ‘We have children and they deserve the best of us.’ So now we are best friends. I know it’s weird. And I am also fully aware that if I have a relationship and he has a relationship, we will have to respect that. It is a very strange dynamic that people are seeing, “he said.

Mackenzie told Nati how great Josh has been throughout the divorce process. She said that he is very different from his friends’ ex-husbands. According to Mackenzie, Josh wants her and the children to be “cared for,” and insists that he will be the one to “start over.”
“I really think you shouldn’t chase or worry about anything because if it’s meant to be, it’s going to happen. If you are not meant to be with me and Josh, then we will go through a smooth and peaceful divorce, ”he said.
