Lots of careers for San Francisco

Career- was the theme for the Ers people to win at the 16th Cardinals of their week. During San Francisco’s 20-12 victory, many players set a single-game best or a new career high.

Running back Jeff Wilson Jr. made a good day for the 49ers who attacked. He had a 22-run rush for a career-high 183 yards. His previous best Week 7 was a 112-yard performance against the Patriots.

Quarterback CJ Beathard was not spread out in the air against the Cardinals. He completed 13 of his 22 rounds at 182 yards, but churned a career-best three touchdown passes. He had previously thrown two touchdowns four times. This was the first time he had thrown for multiple touchdowns without interruption in the game.

San Francisco’s two touchdowns came through fullback Kyle Juskick. The pair of their touchdown receptions marked the first time in their eight-year career that they have a multi-touchdown game. Juzzyk also hit a career-high six for touchdowns this season, up from his previous high of five in 2001.

Linebacker Fred Werner also played a big game, including a big fourth-down pass breakup in the fourth quarter to further the Cardinals’ comeback effort. Warner hurts getting credit for three pass breakups. He clears his previous two high levels he did once in each of his first two seasons.

The San Francisco team had three sacks, and each set a new career mark for the player who recorded it. Carrie Heather Jr. had to give him 8.5 in the season. Which surpassed the 8.0 he posted in the 2016 season.

Williams snatched the Cardinals from the corner to take off Kyler Murray. It was the second sack of his season, and in the year 2020 for the first time Williams had more than one sack.

Defensive Hull DJ Jones flew between the Cardinals’ offensive line for the third sack of the year. It clears the clearance of 2.0 it set earlier this season.

While it has been a frustrating year for 49 people, some of the club’s personal representations have offered silver lining and helped make them competitive in a year where not much has happened.
