Logic returned to social media to share that he was ready to retire from his rap career. Another rapper is hanging up his microphone. It looks like Logic’s sixth studio album will be the last, because the rapper announced today on Instagram (July 16) that he is officially retiring. Throughout his career, we have received five albums, six mixtapes, and even a soundtrack for his novel, but now that Logic is a husband and father, he is ready to move on to the next phase of his life. On his Instagram page, everything has been deleted, except for a post about his final album. “We officially announced my retirement with the launch of the executive ‘No Pressure’ produced by No ID on July 24 …” Logic wrote in the caption. “It’s been a great decade. Now is the time to be a great father.” In April, Logic shared that he and his wife had welcomed their son into the world. It was last September when he shared his next album that would be a continuation of his 2014 studio debut album. Under pressureHowever, his fans did not know that his next album would be his last.
