At the beginning of the fourth quarter, the field was a persistent fight: the teams exchanged precise shots and the difference was consistently small. For the first time in the game, M. Wright’s shot put Prieniai’s team ahead, which was soon ahead 77:73. With 3 minutes left in the game, the visitors were still leading by 2 points – 83:81, and then their substitute players’ bench received a technical foul. However, the hosts failed to take advantage of this penalty and, with a minute and a half to play, they were still 2 points behind – 86:88.

Mindaugas Sušinskas then scored the fifth free kick, which M. Gecevičius converted on two precise free throws, tying the score – 88:88. On the other side of the square, the Utena people came back to defend, and Ž.Skučas (90:88) scored 2 important points for them. After the break, Gigutas Matulis saved T. Digbeu’s foul, but the Frenchman threw only one free kick, while M. Gecevičius realized both: 92:89. The Prieni people lost two more 1-point shots and finally capitulated: Juventus won by 94:91.
