The good news has come to Kaunas “Žalgiris”: Artūras Milaknis will probably be able to play in the quartet of the King Mindaugas Cup final, which kicks off this weekend.
A report posted on social media says Milakni’s investigation has shown that the sniper’s injury in the match with Pasvalys’ Milk Stars is not as serious as he thought and is expected to be in the weekend’s match.
Milaknis was forced to leave the match in the third half when, after a collision with an opponent, he shrugged and immediately walked into the dressing room.
Milaknis has 6.9 points (42 percent trit.), 1.1 rebounds and 5.3 utility points in the LKL championship this season.
On Saturday, the people of Žalgiris will meet Klaipėda’s “Neptune” in the semi-final of the KMT. The meeting in Panevėžys will begin at 4 pm 30 minutes.
