Zenon Kishon, a resident of the remote village of Užvarčiai, cleans snow his entire life with harnessed horses and self-made implements. Zeno does not complain about the lack of government attention or a bad life. The male lives alone on a remote farm with animals and sees no problems. However, it is true that he argues that in old age it would be good to find oneself.
A remote farm
Mr. Zenon was born and raised where he still lives, on a remote farm in the Kėdainiai district, in the elderly town of Krakiai, in Užvarčiai.
This town is best known for the Skinderiškis park located next to it.
The 58-year-old does not complain about living in the country. Raise many sheep, chickens, geese, ducks.
She has a male and several dogs, cats and two horses: Žaba and Bijūnas. These are Zeno’s lifelong helpers, for a man without horses, as without hands.
He travels with horses and does all the farm work. Horses are male helpers not only in summer but also in winter. In winter, a man convinced of horses even cleans the roads.

Special equipment
“I have mastered a horse-drawn, snow-cleaning implement.
The implement is quite simple: made of wood, metal, chains.
I mastered those sleds, hooked up a bulldozer and was good to go. And I’m going to clean myself, and the only neighbor I have.
I have been using this implement for many years, it never fails. Perfectly cleans the road.
It is true that I have to clear the road through the fields for about a kilometer, in all other places the pavilion cleans it with his tractor ”, says the man.
It is not difficult for horses
The man, when asked if it is easy for horses to pull such an implement, shakes his head and begins to teach the truths of life.
“A horse is almost a man’s best friend. After the dog.
Everything can be done with a horse.
I plant gardens in the summer, I plant fields with horse-drawn implements that my parents still left me. In the fall I harvest, I bring hay with horses.
In winter, they clear the snow and travel with them to the store.
Horses are a lifetime for me, I can’t imagine life without them, I just couldn’t live on this unique remote farm, ”explains Zeno.
Work all the work
The man teaches that he performs all agricultural work with the help of horses. There are even a few dozen different vintage implements in your yard, which are designed to work specifically with horses.
“I brought the stones to the farm in a horse-drawn carriage. Nobody believed that.
Huge rocks were also brought to my house with the help of horses and special implements.
I decorated my house with stones. I am beautiful. And nobody sees it anymore ”, say lonely people.
Real brothers
Zeno loves his horses very much. Talk about them as best friends.
And at first glance you can see that Zeno’s horses are beautiful and well supplied.
“Žabas and Bijūnas are brothers. One is fifteen, the other five. These guys agree perfectly.
The horses are well trained, they listen to me. They know they are my friends.
They know that I take care of them, feed them, that I am good to them.
Anyway, I love all animals, I love nature, only love ends when some goose is in a pot. Well that’s the way of life, “laughs the man.
Living sad
Zeno reveals that living on a remote farm is very nice, but sad, because there is no one to communicate with.
“I have a phone, I have a neighbor in his eighties. And that’s it.
Well, and a farm full of various animals.
Sad anyway, but I was born here, I grew up here, I will die here. Here is my parents’ house. I’m not traveling anywhere from here. Unless I take him out with a coffin, ”says a resident of the village of Užvarčiai.
Searching for themselves
True, at the end of the conversation, the man says that in old age it would be nice to find himself, because living alone is boring.
“I am 58 years old. I can do all the agricultural work, I am a hard worker. I think I am a good person.
It would be nice to find yourself. Not young, but not old. Well average.
The most important thing is to be a worker and be able to take care of the gardens. I would know how to do farm work. After all, it would be more fun to work in two.
Life here is almost like a paradise, so don’t share that paradise with a good person, ”says Z. Kishon, who is happy.
