Šiauliai: powerful return of Echod and Goudelock and the historical record of Lukauskis / News

Vilnius Rytas (13-5) in Šiauliai extended LKL’s longest series of victories to six in a row. Team led by Giedrius Žibėnas with Martynas Echodas and Andrew Goudelock returning 98:85 (23:22, 25:15, 20:29, 30:19) beat Šiauliai’s team (5-12).

The legend Mindaugas Lukauskis representing Šiauliai became the basketball player who played in the LKL championship for the most minutes in this match.

So far, this record has been held by Rolandas Matulis, who has spent a total of 14,922 minutes on the pitch in 554 games. Lukauskis count: 14,931 minutes, played during 649 games.
