Before the final of the national team “Eurovision”, we invite you to cast your vote in the Delfi poll: who is better to win?

“I am very grateful to all the participants of the national team this year, who, knowing the current difficult situation in the music industry, did not flee and took part in the selection. I can also be happy with the really strong and different performances that await me in the final this Saturday, ”says LRT chief producer Audrius Giržadas.

On the last night, all the artists will perform the songs live during the live broadcast. This time there will be no commission on the study. As it will be composed of a larger team of experts in the final, they will watch the performances on the screens and connect to the broadcast remotely.

This year, the National Festival of the Eurovision Song Contest, due to the current situation in the country, is being filmed without spectators and in accordance with strict security requirements, in order to protect both the performers themselves and the team working in the project. Depending on the situation of the pandemic, there are four possible scenarios for Eurovision to occur: normal to remote.

This Saturday it will be announced who will represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place from May 18 to 22 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. As in rating programs, the audience and commission votes will be divided equally.

Viewers will be able to vote for the song they like best by calling or texting. The organizers of the national team emphasize that it will be possible to cast twice as many votes in the finals as during the selection programs, ten from a mobile phone. The portion of the funds raised for spectator calls and short messages, which goes to LRT, will go to the performer or group that won the national team.

In order not to encourage the telephone voting competition, the results of the audience voting will also be announced only at the end of the show.
