The match between Žalgiris and Crvena Zvezda is postponed

Late on Tuesday evening, the Euroleague officially announced that the 24th round match between Kaunas “Žalgiris” and Belgrade’s “Crvena Zvezda” will be postponed until later.

Kaunas teams were due to play on Thursday, but Crvena Zvezda asked for it to be postponed due to the coronavirus that had spread in the team.

The Belgrade club has informed the Euroleague that after COVID-19 tests and positive responses, the team will not have 8 eligible players. Therefore, according to the Euroleague regulations, the match will be postponed with a new date announced later.

According to the special protocol of the Euroleague COVID-19, all matches can be postponed a maximum of three times, if they have other dates.
