The Euroleague has postponed Žalgiris’s match this week against the Serbs

The Euroleague decided at the request of the Serbs.

On Tuesday, Serbian media reported that four representatives of Crvena Zvezda had been infected with the coronavirus – with players and two staff members.

This information was later confirmed by the club itself, which did not reveal the names of the patients.

The team report indicates that the infected team members are home-isolated and all others have undergone additional testing, the results of which are expected.

On Monday Crvena Zvezda played an Adriatic league match (ABA) with another Belgrade team, Mega Soccerbet, and won 92:85.

American Corey Walden did not participate in the match; Crvena Zvezda did not say why she missed the match.

Another Crvena Zvezda legionnaire, Johnny O’Bryant, did not play in the meeting. So far, he has been suspended by the club due to a verbal conflict with head coach Dejan Radonjic.

We remind you that this season, due to the “Žalgiris” coronavirus, the Euroleague match has not yet been loaned. Rokas Jokubaitis and Marekas Blaževičius fell ill with this disease in Kaunas’ own team.
