At a crucial moment, both teams struggled to score points. With two minutes remaining, John Shurna reduced the distance to two points (72:74), while Walter Tavares and Fabien Causeur made only one free throw (76:72) in the other attacks. Matto Costello’s quick 3-pointer forced Real to ask for a minute break with 32 seconds left.
Sean Kilpatrick responded to two of Causeur’s free throws with Andrew Albicy (80:81) behind Garbiel Decko’s points, but there were only three seconds left in the game and the score was unchanged.
