In 2019, a 720-meter-long section of Geležinio Vilko Street from the Linkmenai Factory of Gediminas Technical University to the intersection with Ukmergės Street was distributed with two additional lanes. In addition, the traffic light intersection on Žalgirio street was relocated and installed again, traffic lights were rebuilt at the Ukmergės – Geležinio Vilko street intersection, new sidewalks were laid, new pedestrian crossings were installed, LED lights were installed and around 400 meters of new bicycle. and pedestrian paths were built.
