The injuries were so severe that the man treated in Kaunas clinics for less than a week did not survive, on October 17. he died.
Four men have been arrested for the robbery in Lazdijai: the author and the organizers. Currently all are in detention.
After the death of the victim of a thief, the crime may be reclassified as murder, but this will be decided by the prosecutor in charge of the case.
