The operator of the Litgrid system announces that as of October 16 the Board will appoint Vidmantas Grušas, Director of the Litgrid Transmission Network Department, as interim director of the company.
Litgird’s manual is unexpectedly changed as the goal is to speed up the timing process, as well as find ways to prevent the Astrava nuclear power plant.
It is not officially announced why the D.Virbickas and Litgrid roads differ.
“The new manager will set goals to ensure the speed, quality and timely implementation of projects,” Energy Minister Žygimantas Vaičiūnas said in a press release.
“Thanks to the coordinated actions of all the country’s institutions and the synchronization with the electrical grids of continental Europe, we have made more progress than ever and work is already under way on the implementation of this project. Daivis Virbickas, General Manager of Litgrid, has contributed significantly to this achievement with his competence, and we are grateful to him for that, ”says Algirdas Juozaponis, Chairman of the Board of Litgrid.
D.Virbickas says in a press release that he is grateful to the team of colleagues.
