“I am pleased to announce tonight that in addition to the President’s compliance with the CDC [JAV ligų kontrolės ir prevencijos centro] “This morning’s COVID-19 PCR sample, according to currently recognized standards, shows that it is no longer considered to be capable of infecting others,” said President Sean Conley.

Conley, who was accused of being unyielding in communicating with the public, said 10 days had passed since Trump had his first symptoms of COVID-19.

Tests have shown that “there is no longer any evidence of an active virus multiplying” and that viruses in Trump’s body are shrinking, Conley said, but he did not state that there were any.

While people with low levels of the virus may not be able to infect others, doctors have not set a specific limit.

According to S. Conley, D. Trump does not have a fever, his symptoms have alleviated. The doctor added that he will continue to monitor the president as he “returns to the active agenda.”

The president entered the hospital on October 2 and stayed there for three days before returning to the White House.

CDC guidelines state that people with COVID-19 whose symptoms are not severe can discontinue isolation and precautions 10 days after onset of symptoms and if they have not had a fever for the past 24 hours.

In the most severe cases, a period of up to 20 days is indicated from the onset of symptoms, the guidelines say. The severity of Trump’s case has not been confirmed.

America’s chief communicable disease specialist Anthony Fauci has said he believes the president’s team of doctors will not allow him to appear in public while putting others at risk of infection.

“I can assure you that they will test him before they release him,” he told CBS News.

Trump was in a hurry to jumpstart his election campaign and get back on track.

Less than a month before the November 3 election, he is far behind his rival, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden in popularity.
