According to VRFS, the candidacy of A. Pukelis for the members of the LTOK Executive Committee has been illegally raised as it was not approved at the LFF Executive Committee meeting, as required by the LFF Bylaws.
And LFF claims that everything was done in accordance with the statutes.
This assertion of the VRFS is misleading and unfounded, since, according to article 37 (4) of the LFF statutes, which establishes that the decisions of the LFF Emergency Committee must take effect from the moment they are they take.
Thus, contrary to the VRFS recourse before the LTOK and other institutions, the decision taken by the LFF Emergency Committee is lawful and valid from the moment of its adoption.
VRFS leaders were informed of the need to adhere to the LFF Code of Ethics and act ethically and fairly with the sporting community and avoid conflicts of interest in all circumstances.
The LFF Executive Committee and other LFF governing bodies have the right to submit a request to the LFF Ethics Committee regarding the initiation of an investigation into possible violations of the Code of Ethics of the Lithuanian Football Federation ”, read in the report distributed by LFF.
