A multiple Armenian champion died in a fire in Nagorno-Karabakh

The 23-year-old athlete was part of the Nagorno-Karabakh army and, according to Armenian media, he had already been injured in a shooting at the border three years ago.

Clashes between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh resumed on September 27. Both parties accuse each other of provocations.
