81-year-old Kenzo Takada, the first Japanese designer to become famous on the highly competitive Parisian fashion scene, is reported to have died in an American hospital in Paris.

The fashion designer retired in 1999, six years after French luxury brand LVMH Moet Hennessy – Louis Vuitton (LVHM) sold its fashion label and has since been involved in individual projects, including the collection presented in the early 1900s. this year.
The designer arrived in France from his native Japan in 1965 by boat and initially landed in Marseille.
He planned only a short stay in the French capital, but Paris eventually became his home.
He created the first collection for women in 1970, the first collection for men in 1983 and the first “Kenzo Kenzo” perfume in 1988.
Kenzo Takada became especially famous for his trademark floral patterns.
