The UK Treasury report says sanctions will be imposed on Alexander Ganov, CEO of Grand Servis Ekspres, and Leonid Ryzenkenk, deputy director of Stroigazmontaž, for infrastructure projects.

Sanctions were also imposed on four legal entities: Lenpromtransprojekt, Berkakit-Tomoto-Yakutsk Railway Construction Directorate, Krymskaja železnaja doroga and Krymskaja pervaja strachovaja kompanija.

It should be noted that the properties belonging to these people and entities will be frozen in Great Britain. In addition, it will be prohibited to provide financial services to them without special permission.

At the EU summit on Thursday, it was decided to expand the list of entities that undermine the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. Community leaders concluded that the individuals and organizations “were involved in a project to illegally annex the Crimean-Russia railway infrastructure.”

Brussels first announced individual sanctions against those who contributed to the annexation of Ukraine in March 2014. The EU has also announced restrictive measures against some sectors of the Russian economy.
