The Kremlin has responded to Navaln’s accusations

“We believe that such accusations against the Russian president are completely unfounded and unacceptable,” Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. He also claimed that the Central Intelligence Agency was “currently working” with A. Navalns.

Navaln: Putin organized my poisoning

Russian opposition leader Alexei Navaln says his poisoning was organized by Russian President Vladimir Putin himself.

“I claim that Putin organized this crime, I have no other version of what happened,” Navaln told the German magazine Der Spiegel.

He also confirmed that he had returned to Russia from Germany, where he was being treated with a substance that paralyzes the nerves of the Novičiok group.

According to Der Spiegel, Navaln is currently walking everywhere in Berlin, accompanied by security guards.

A. Navalnas, 44, has already been discharged from the hospital. A critic of the Kremlin and an anti-corruption activist were poisoned last month. He lost consciousness on a plane flying from Tomsk to Moscow and, after spending a few days in a hospital in Omsk, he was transferred to Berlin.

A. Navaln spent 32 days in the Charite Hospital in Berlin, 24 of them in the intensive care unit.

According to German experts, toxicological tests “unequivocally prove” that A. Navaln was poisoned with the nerve-paralyzing substance “Novičiok”.

“Putin saved lives”

In response to Navaln’s statements, the Kremlin said that “such accusations against the Russian president are completely unfounded and unacceptable.”

“We found some of these statements in the offensive post,” Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

According to him, there is information that “specialists” from the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) were working with A. Navaln “these days” and were training him.

“There is information that these instructors are working with him these days,” Peskov said.

“The instructions the patient receives are obvious. We have seen this pattern of behavior more than once, “he added.

For his part, Vyacheslav Volodin, chairman of the Russian State Duma, said in response to opposition accusations that Putin, Russian doctors and pilots had saved Navaln’s life.

“Putin saved his life. If what happened to him was organized by Western special services, then his statement follows this logic. He was sincerely rescued by everyone from pilots and doctors to the president … Only an indecent person can make such statements. ”Said V. Volodin, whose words are quoted on the official website of the State Duma.

“It is quite clear that Navaln is working with Western authorities and special services,” he added.

At the time, Peskov, when asked by journalists to comment on Volodin’s statement that the Russian president had saved Navaln’s life, said: “I cannot confirm this, I know unequivocally that the Omsk doctors were involved in saving the life of Navaln “.

Navaln also promised to return to Russia in full in the interview and said he would not please Putin in his exile.

“Not going back would mean that Putin has achieved his goal. And my job now is to remain a person who is not afraid,” he said.

“Gift for Putin”

“I will not give Putin a gift without returning to Russia,” Navaln said, adding that his “task is to strengthen himself as soon as possible” so that he can “return.”

In an interview that lasted almost two hours, he provided gruesome details about how he crashed into the plane.

Navaln told the crew that he had been poisoned and fell to the ground.

“Then I heard voices that became quieter; one woman urged, “Don’t faint!” So that’s it. I knew she was dead. Only later did I realize that I was wrong, ”said A. Navalnas.

Despite this experience, he promised to return to Russia to continue his activities.

“I will continue to travel the regions of Russia, live in hotels and drink water in rooms. What else can I do?” You will not do much against Putin’s invisible assassins, “he said.

For the moment, the opposition remains in Berlin with his wife and son.

“In the morning I take a walk in the park, that’s my task, then I exercise with my doctor and at night I walk again,” Navalnas said.

He also said that he had started juggling “to improve coordination so that the hands move in the same direction as the eyes.”
