Lionel Messi has reportedly remained ‘furious’ with Barcelona, as Ronald Koeman has a difficult task to convince the superstar.
Messi was left very frustrated and considered his future in the wake of their 8-2 Champions League humiliation at the hands of Bayern Munich.
It was later reported that he wants to leave the club immediately after holding crisis talks with club managers ahead of the unforgettable dismissal of manager Quique Setien.
According to Argentine newspaper Clarin, Messi has been angered by information leaked regarding his meeting with new manager Ronald Koeman this week.
Messi has shortened his holiday to meet with the Dutchman and RAC1, a Catalan radio station that has consistently supported President Josep Maria Bartomeu, has revealed that he told the new manager that he is seriously considering leaving the club.
Details of the private conversation being made public have angered Messi, while fellow star Luis Suarez has spoken publicly about his frustration at a lack of direct contact from the top.
Suarez told AS: “There has been talk of some names being suggested by the president, changes that could be made, but no one has told me they want to get rid of me.
“If that’s what the club wants, it would be nice if the director responsible for these decisions speaks to me directly.
“It’s better than leaking if I’m one of the players they want to leave. We’ll see what happens.

“I want whatever is best for the club and at the moment my intention is to stay on, but if the club decides I did not want to anymore, I have no problem with those who decide. Koeman? I have not talk to him anyway. “
Koeman now has a serious task to deal with Messi, with the board presumably considering the possibility of selling him this summer.
The new manager addressed the situation for the first time this week, saying: ‘He still has a contract and is still a Barcelona player. At this point I have to talk to him, because he’s the captain.
‘We have to work with him and talk to different players. We have to make some decisions, but in the case of Messi, I hope he stays with us.
‘I do not know if I should convince Messi [to stay], whether it is now or not. He’s the best player in the world and the best player in the world you want in your team, you do not want him to play against you.
‘As a coach, I would like to work with Messi, because he wins matches. When he is on the ability and level, he has always shown that I would be more than happy for him to stay. ”
