Macron explained that “there is fraternity between France and Lebanon, and from this point of view France has a duty towards the Lebanese youth by giving them the opportunity to realize their dreams, or at least express them, and Lebanon is a model of coexistence, tolerance and pluralism” . He stressed that Hezbollah is a party that represents part of the Lebanese people and has been elected, and that today there is an association between him and several other parties, and if we do not want Lebanon to slide towards a model in which terrorism dominates at the expense of other matters, then Hezbollah and other parties must be informed of their responsibilities.
