He explained that “the company had obtained from the Ministry of Industry the book No. 3193-3078 / and the date of 11/23/2017 which indicates that there is no objection to removing the old gas tanks and replacing them with spherical tanks inside of the approved technical standards, provided that the work is limited to replacement and technical extensions without any other change that requires modification of the license, provided that all work is carried out under the supervision of the Institute of Industrial Research, in addition to the need to adhere to Memorandum No. 2/4 dated 07/13/2015 issued by the Ministry of Energy and Water, in order to preserve public safety and avoid risks that may occur. They are the result of old reservoirs, and the Ministry of Industry has reported the need to complete all the legal and technical procedures required of all interested parties, especially the General Directorate of Petroleum and the Industrial Research Institute, and the approval of the Ministry of the Environment to study the environmental impact in addition to the approval of the Ministry of Industry in case of additional modifications to those Permitted by Book No. 3193-3078 / and dated 11/23/2017.
