The Information Office of the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement that “the President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, will receive the vaccine against the Crown, in contrast to what was published today in the media and social networks.”

The newspaper “Al-Gomhoria” had stated that President Aoun would not receive the Corona vaccine upon arrival in Lebanon.

President Aoun received, on Monday, at the Baabda Palace, the Minister of Public Health Hamad Hassan, who thanked President Aoun for granting the Ministry permission to negotiate with the company “Pfizer” to ensure its vaccine against the Corona epidemic, and provide the necessary addresses to conclude the agreement with the aforementioned company for an investigation. For that end.

During the meeting, Minister Hassan indicated that “a committee has been formed to ensure that the vaccine reaches the approved vaccination centers and in a fair manner.”
