According to the agency, the total number of passengers using the Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut during the first month of this year reached 205,753 passengers (compared to 519,388 passengers in January 2020, a decrease of 60.38% and a decrease 66%). than was on it in January 2019, when a total of 606,371 passengers were registered).

The number of arrivals in Lebanon reached 66,969 passengers last month (a decrease of 70.92% from January 2020 and a decrease of more than 75% from January 2019).

As for outbound passengers, it registered 138.81 passengers last month (a decrease of 52.1% compared to the same month last year and 58.83% compared to January 2019).

The number of passengers in transit reached 703 last month (up from 7.98% compared to January 2020).

A total of 2,517 domestic, Arab and foreign airline flights used the Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut last month (a decrease of 46.7% from January 2020 and 55.28% from January 2019).

According to the agency, the number of incoming flights to Lebanon decreased by 46.7% compared to the first month of last year, and 1260 arrivals were recorded, the number of flights leaving from Lebanon decreased by 46.69% And 1257 flights were registered.

The agency indicated that the number of passengers at the airport in the first half of the current month of February reached 70,553 passengers, compared to 227,974 passengers in the same period last year, a decrease of 69%.
