He added: “Today they are increasing the suffering of the Lebanese people by lifting subsidies on consumer goods, fuels and medicines, which has become a foretaste of a social catastrophe, and would negatively affect the purchasing power of citizens and increase the poverty rate in an unprecedented way, and it will lead to social disaster, and will have repercussions on the middle class and poor. “
The statement continued: “From here, the Coordination Committee approaches this authority and says: Be careful and raise the support that you say you do because it will be a shame for us, for you and for the rest of Lebanese. Every day of delay in forming a government and taking the reform measures necessary to save the economy is a stab to the country and citizens. Immediately, stop wasting the opportunities and initiatives that work to save Lebanon. Enough political spurs at the expense of the tragedies of people who can no longer tolerate hunger and disease. “
The commission stated, “The absolute refusal to raise the support that is talked about in any way, the acceleration of the correction of wages and salaries in the face of the fall in the value of the pound with the acceleration of the terrible financial collapse. It also denounced the slow death to which teachers in the private sector are exposed by not paying their salaries or deducting part of them “. “Their pensions and by transferring something to hourly wages and arbitrary disbursements, and the state must intervene through the Ministry of Education to protect them from what they are exposed to and stop all forms of injustice and injustice that follow them.”
And he called for “the need to expedite the resolution of the issue of contractors with their names in all the different sectors of education by paying their fees monthly, especially in these difficult circumstances, and signing contracts with the Ministry of Education to help them preserve their rights. , and adopting a clear plan to install them in stages to fill vacancies in formal academic and professional education. ” A demand to “meet the demands of workers in the afternoon shift, reconsidering the hourly wage allocation according to the dollar exchange rates in the market.”
