Several Lebanese protesters organized protest vigils in the southern Lebanese city of Sidon and in the capital Beirut to express their solidarity with protesters in the northern city of Tripoli, according to the German News Agency.

In the northern city of Tripoli, protesters tonight blocked some of the entrances to Abdul Hamid Karami Square with burning tires and garbage cans, protesting the difficult living conditions.
