A giant pelican breaks into a Beirut restaurant.
Visitors to a seafood restaurant in Beirut were surprised by the entrance of a wild pelican and wandered around the restaurant looking for fish, and many videos of him inside the restaurant were released to the Western media.
The British newspaper “The Sun” published a video of the giant bird entering the restaurant overlooking the Corniche of the Lebanese capital Beirut, coming from the sea.
And the restaurant owners responded to the pelican bird’s “demands”, feeding it small fish, before heading to the frozen fish area and picking up other fish.
According to the British newspaper, the swan bird called “Ofi” was rescued by Lebanese fishermen, after he was injured at sea, and from that moment on, the bird goes daily to the restaurant to eat fish.
Local residents said the daily entry of a pelican introduces some fun into their lives, at a time when residents have suffered from real crises in Beirut, since the Beirut port explosion and the economic crises that gripped the country.
