Traveling during the Corona era has special procedures
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced new travel procedures during the Corona pandemic on Friday.
The American Centers said that people who were fully vaccinated against the Corona virus can travel as long as they wear masks, reducing their previous position, which was opposed to travel in light of the spread of the epidemic.
The new guidelines come at a time when studies have shown that Covid vaccines reduce the risk of infection with or without symptoms, according to the “Wall Street Journal.”
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that those who received the two doses of Corona virus vaccination can travel internally and externally without testing unless the destination to which they are traveling requests it.
The centers also recommended that travelers who received the vaccine wear full masks, as long as the traveler performs a reconnaissance between the third and fifth day of their return.
According to the American Centers, these instructions apply to those who passed two weeks after the second dose.
Although the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has determined that travel has become less dangerous for people who have been vaccinated, their officials still advise against taking this step as Covid cases increase in the United States.
“It is our responsibility at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to look at the evolving evidence on what is less dangerous and what to do when fully vaccinated,” said Rochelle Wallinski, director of the CDC.
But since the majority of the population is not yet vaccinated and cases are increasing, Walinsky advised not to travel.
And last month, the CDC relaxed some of its safety guidelines for vaccinated people, but continued to warn of unnecessary travel.
Walinsky had called for avoiding unnecessary travel in recent weeks, citing sudden increases in the number of cases that followed vacation travel.
