Commenting on the report published in Al-Akhbar on 4/6/2020, under the title “Who Delays the Appointment of Lebanon TV Management,” we come from the Lebanon Television Users Union, the following response:

When he had included in his respected newspaper an article saying: “Is it true that Diab is delaying the appointment of political appointments, even though he has heard that the TV Employees Union is on strike if it stagnates again “and in a way that confuses the political side that the union does not have to stop or interfere with it, and the union that talks about leading the strike has no validity or foundation and is obtained from the union and its members, and they are interested in ensuring the proper functioning of the company and its continuity.
Whereas, you have stated that “the work session at the station is practically inactive due to the absence of employees without supervision or responsibility” (sic), which constitutes abuse for users and raises the suspicion that Lebanon TV suffers chaos due to the lack of responsibility and commitment of its users, since there is no truth or responsibility It has a basis for it and it comes from the union and its members, and they, as we mentioned, go back, repeat and confirm, they are interested in guaranteeing the proper functioning of the company and its continuity and in fulfilling its functions to the fullest without any failure, and it is unfair to overlook their efforts and dedication to work and consider them reckless and underestimate their job duties.
And since the mentioned article would provide readers, and through it public opinion, an incomplete picture of the truth and reality related to the situation of Lebanon TV and damaging its reputation and the reputation of its users and their union,
So,
Based on the above,
