Additionally, joint forces on Yemen’s west coast announced late Saturday that they had monitored Iranian-backed Houthi militias and committed 217 violations of the UN armistice south of Hodeidah, over the past 12 hours.

It added that the militias launched artillery and missile strikes in neighborhoods, residential villages and farms in the areas of Al-Hawak, Al-Duraihimi, Hays, Al-Tuhayat, Al-Haima, Al-Jubaila and Al-Hodeidah. Among the violations, the Al-Qasimi mosque was destroyed in the residential neighborhood of Mashhad, following the Houthi bombardment of Katyusha rockets, and the flight of 11 Houthi reconnaissance aircraft over the Hays and Al-Tuhayta directions was monitored.

He indicated that the joint forces in Hays broke a drag carried out by the Houthi militia from the south and northeast, and the militias suffered casualties among their members.

In Al-Durayhimi, joint forces succeeded in suppressing Houthi movements to the east of the district, along with the destruction of militia weapons targeting residential villages.

He confirmed that three armed militiamen were killed and others wounded while trying to infiltrate joint forces positions east of Al-Tuhayta city center.
