The Emirates Emergency and Disaster Management Committee announced the relaxation of the precautionary measures taken with regard to entering the capital, Abu Dhabi, as of December 24.

The new measures included reducing the time to accept a negative “PCR” test result from 48 hours to 72 for those wishing to enter the emirate, and returning to the procedure for examination 6 days after entering Abu Dhabi, after it became a requirement for two exams 4 days and 8 days before.

The capital of the United Arab Emirates will exempt those who come from green countries from quarantine if they have a negative test result, while the quarantine period for those who come from other countries has been reduced to only 10 days, and for those arriving in the emirate from abroad after 6 days and 12 days.

The measures also included raising the capacity of economic, tourist and entertainment activities to possible operational capacity in accordance with approved procedures.

Abu Dhabi passed the periodic examination of residents of industrial zones and strengthened the “SEHA” inspection centers outside the emirate and eliminated the centers at its points of entry. Participants excluded the national vaccination program and participants in clinical trials of the vaccine from the above procedures.
