Abu Dhabi Media Group and i24NEWS, an Israeli channel that speaks foreign languages, including Arabic, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding to develop content and provide mutual information coverage for the staff of the two institutions. The Abu Dhabi Investment Office also confirmed that it will open an office in Israel soon.
And the Emirates News Agency reported that the memorandum of understanding is in line with the goals of Abu Dhabi Media and the Israeli channel to develop the production of distinguished content that keeps up with the aspirations and interests of the public.
This memo also allows the exchange of coverage in the field of news, current affairs, reports, documentaries and some archival materials, with a focus on the Arabic language.
Abu Dhabi Media Group is part of “Holding” (ADQ), which is one of the largest holding companies in the region, within the main non-oil sectors of the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
“I24 News” was launched in July 2013 as part of the “Altis” group, owned by businessman Patrick Drahi, and has studios in Israel, the United States and Europe.
On the other hand, Tariq Bin Hindi, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, said Monday that he will open an office in Israel in a few weeks, saying “this is very exciting.”
The Abu Dhabi Investment Office announced in September that it would open its first office outside the United Arab Emirates in Tel Aviv, following the signing of an agreement to establish official relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel.
