The British police announced a second death, caused by cows, in less than two weeks, in the north of England.
The British newspaper “The Guardian” quoted police as saying that Malcolm Flynn, 72, of the city of Carlisle, died after being run over by cows.
The police asked the witnesses to make their statement, after Flynn was fatally wounded, as they described what happened as “tragic”.
They reported that the incident occurred while Flynn was walking near Thurlwall and Jessland Castle in Northumberland on Friday morning.
On Monday, the assistant principal of a local school died after cows intercepted his path near Richmond, North Yorkshire.
A security official said: “Our investigation is continuing and we have already spoken with several witnesses … However, we are still trying to hear from various people who were in the area at the time.”
British police have yet to come to a conclusion on the cause of two cow deaths in less than two weeks.
