A collision of a passenger bus with a van on a deep thoroughfare – West Bekaa, left two people dead (the bus driver and a child among the passengers) and seven injured.
As announced by the General Directorate of Civil Defense, members of the Civil Defense rescued an injured person from inside the bus, and the agents worked to remove the body of the driver and the child from inside the same bus.
An indication that the operatives used hydraulic rescue equipment to carry out the mission, since the chassis of the bus was severely damaged as a result of the accident.
