Notably, “President Aruj” started the seismic investigation in the eastern Mediterranean on August 10, and recently the Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources announced the return of the ship to the port of Antalya on November 29, after completing its activities.

The mission of “President Arouj” has raised strong objections and criticism from the European Union, especially Greece and Cyprus, which consider the waters in which the ship operated as belonging to them.
