More than 120 Republican members of Congress had joined the measure, despite strong criticism from legal experts.

It is the second time in recent days that the court has overturned the Trump team’s efforts to overturn the election results.
Last Tuesday, judges rejected the attempt by Republican Rep. Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania and others to block the results of the elections in the state.
